GENTRI-BURN: Here’s The White People Who Set Fire To Homes [VIDEO]

The following notice went out for the burning of the homes at 2010 Wharton Street

On May 1, 2017, at approximately 4:15 am, 17th District Officers responded to 1308 South 20th Street for a fire.

Upon arrival, the fire had spread from 1308 South 20th Street to 1316 South 20th Street. The Philadelphia Fire Department responded and was able to extinguish the fire after it went to the 2nd alarm. According to the construction site employee, workers were last in the properties on April 28, 2017.

All properties were under construction and unoccupied. There were no injuries reported as a result of the incident.

Surveillance video recovered from the area depicts an unknown male who is a person of interest at the construction site before the fire occurred.

The male initially is seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt but returns a short time later without the hooded sweatshirt wearing a T-shirt, distinctive shoes, reflective backpack, and appears to be a young white male with a thin build.
