Somehow the Sheriff’s office rounded out to 100 the number of properties they decided to take to auction in next week’s tax sale. The properties being sold for their taxes, after the jump.
As I chronicled ONE specific Writ for Sheriff’s Sale yesterday, which a Common Pleas court judge signed back in January of this year; the Sheriff’s office has yet to actually act on the Judge’s order.
I’m sure there’s all sorts of wonderful excuses that the Sheriff’s office can cook up if they’re ever quizzed on this topic. Maybe Jewell Williams should be allowed to get his shiny new car, on condition the Sheriff’s office can actually demonstrates that it can move its ass and do its job.
