This is the shit you did to 3149. Just sayin’

Hi, people who live in 3147 Levick Street.   I used to live on your block.  So did about 11 other people in the last 4 years who got tired of your shit and left.   I’m sure you already know this; but the whole neighborhood has known that you are squatters.   Yeah your landlord died; and after she passed you guys got a wonderful deal:  Zero Rent.

See, when your landlord was still alive, the graceful old lady that she was… she kept an eye on you.   So you behaved and acted nice and neighborly.   It didn’t take long for that to come to a quick end after she was carted off by the coroner in a body-bag when she died in a summer heat wave a few years ago.

We all know PGW dug up a huge moon crater because the gas was hooked-up illegally and cut your hot water and heat off.   But that didn’t phase ya, because you’re already squatting in 3147 immediately next door.  You just reduced to one house instead of two.  The New York owner raced down the second you disappeared to the grocery store and bolted the doors and windows shut so you couldn’t get back in.

Then to top it all off, you had the audacity to break in to your landlord’s house AND the house next door (also unoccupied), and you put a FOR RENT sign in the house next door and also put in squatters in 3150, where your landlord used to live.    And there’s been shootings, caused by you.   At least the owner of the second house you broke into complained and bitched loudly enough to the 15th District you backed off.

I’m sure it’s been one constant party ever since.   But that’s about to change.   Back in Janurary, a Common Pleas court judge said that the house you’re busy destroying the insides of must go to Sheriff’s Sale:

DECREE ENTERED. AND NOW, THIS 11TH DAY OF JANUARY, 2012, THE COURT ORDERS AND DECREES THAT THE PREMISES, TO WIT: 3147 LEVICK STREET, AS FULLY DESCRIBED IN THE TAX INFORMATION CERTIFICATE, SHALL BE SOLD BY THE SHERIFF, CLEAR OF ALL CLAIMS, LIENS, MORTGAGES, GROUND RENTS, CHARGES, AND ESTATES, TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER AT SUCH SALE; AND THE PROCEEDS REALIZED THEREFROM SHALL BE DISTRIBUTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PRIORITY OF SUCH CLAIMS; AND THE PURCHASE AT SUCH SALE SHALL TAKE AND FOREVER THEREAFTER HAVE, AN ABSOLUTE TITLE TO THE PROPERTY SOLD, FREE AND DISCHARGED OF ALL TAX AND MUNICIPAL CLAIMS, LIENS, MORTGAGES, GROUND RENTS, CHARGES, AND ESTATES OF WHATSOEVER KIND, SUBJECT ONLY TO THE RIGHT OF REDEMPTION AS PROVIDED BY LAW. BY THE COURT: TUCKER, J. 1/11/12.

And I bet a dime to a doughnut that your house will get picked up, because 3148 was sold, rehabbed, and then sold again.  Maybe someone will buy it and fix all the damage that you’ve caused and rent it out to someone that can at least take care of their fucking property and not cause a constant parade of cray-cray drama on the fucking block that’s prompted over a third of the residents to move out.

So, enjoy your free rent situation while it lasts.  It won’t last long.   And Mayfair/Tacony/Wissinoming Landlords: if you get someone applying for an apartment with the 3100 block of Levick Street on their driver’s license… God help you.
